Zomerlust joins the team!

I'm delighted that one of the yard's old boys Zomerlust has joined the roster.

A former high-class sprint handicapper, he is certainly not as good as he was but is certainly capable when running in the right grade.

He promises to get the Highfield Racing silks into the winners enclosure sooner rather than later.

Tharawal Lady will be able to enjoy her Christmas safe in the Knowledge that the bulk of her 'ground work' is done. She has been cantering away for a good while, has done stalls work and this morning for the first time had a proper 'blowout' as such.

We couldn't be happier with her.

Shares are still available in her. Get them snapped up quickly to avoid missing out.

This morning we had William Hill's television crew to the yard to record Tharawal Lady up the gallops.

This would normally be straightforward enough except that gale force winds nearly blew us all away! A clip of her doing the last furlong or so plus an interview with myself and the filly will be uploaded on to here soon.

She looks a real runner and could even be John's first two year old runner next year with a bit of luck.

Today sees Highfield Racing launch officially. Everything is in order for us to partake in this venture. We only hope that you can join us!

Trainer John Quinn has spoke of his delight at welcoming a new syndicate into the yard: 'I am very pleased to see Highfield Racing launch. It is a project that I think will really give members value for money and even more importantly, thorough enjoyment and prolonged success. Welcome aboard.'
